Celestial Tofu Bags  

A favourite in many households for its succulent texture and delightful flavours.

  • 20g golden mushroom
  • 20g fresh Chinese mushroom
  • 20g fresh straw mushroom
  • 20g brown swordbelt mushroom
  • 10 pcs large tau pok (tofu puffs)
  • 120g green vegetables
  • 1 tbsp KCT Light Soya Sauce (Special)
  • 1 tbsp KCT Oyster Sauce
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • Pepper As desired
  • 250 g water
  • Wash and dice all mushrooms.
  • Heat oil in a wok, add all the mushrooms and stir-fry till fragrant. Add in seasoning and simmer. When gravy is reduced, thicken with cornstarch. Set aside and let cool.
  • Fill each tau pok with the cooked mushrooms. Close the tau pok openings by tying up the openings with leek strips to form tofu bags.
  • Steam the tofu bags for 15 mins and remove.
  • Mix 250 g water and ½ tbsp Kwong Cheong Thye Light Soya Sauce and bring to boil. Thicken with corn flour before pouring over tofu bags. Decorate with stir-fried vegetables.
