Prawns in Gold  

A quick and simple dish that does not compromise on taste, a must-try for every family.

  • 800g medium-sized prawns
  • 12 salted egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp KCT Light Soya Sauce Best
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • some Chinese wine
  • Remove the heads and legs of prawns, clean and devein. Steam salted egg yolks and let cool, then grind finely.
  • Marinate prawns with seasoning for 15 mins.
  • Heat oil in a wok. When 70% hot, dip prawns into potato starch and deep-fry till golden brown before removing.
  • Leave some oil in the wok, add in salted egg yolk and stir-fry till dry over low heat. Add prawns and stir-fry well.
